Y- My dual-religion background

 Episode 2 of 30

In one word, I asked God what he would like me to discuss in my 30-year journey because there are many areas to discuss. Lo and behold, God was clear and would like me to talk about my journey in Christ so far!

In this episode, I want to touch on my dual-religion background.

Although I was born into a Christian home, my maternal grandfather was not a Christian. My mother, before she got married, was practicing a different religion. And for some reason, even though she converted to Christianity in her young adult life, she was still super close to her family, and I had no choice as well. I wish I did not have to deal with that because it was so confusing, especially when I went to visit my maternal family. 

During my vacations, I was always compelled to adopt their style of worship by age 6 or so. At that age, I was enjoying it, as I did not even know what it meant to be in Christ, not to talk of having a relationship with Him. I was an ignorant child who knew nothing other than playing and getting myself dirty.

This whole dual religion continued, as far as I know, until I was around 12 or 13 years old.

E - Something Special, Yet Painful!

  Episode 13 of 30 My Passion for Nursing school!!! Have you ever pursued something that looked like a success, at first yet became a failure? (failure, in the sense of  human reasoning). Something I didn't mention earlier was that before I was selected to be part of the youth executives, I was already in the process of applying to nursing school. My intention to study nursing came up while I was in Egypt, but I didn't have the opportunity because I was already doing Accounting. I was super good at calculation, so the teenager in me gravitated towards calculating money lol! just joking (more of like, family decision). Y - God qualifies those who are not qualified - Episode 14 of 30

Episode 14 of 30 From being a Regular executive to becoming the Youth President! First time visiting my blog! You are welcome.
